Imagine that you're a young child from Central America who has just arrived in the US after an arduous journey. Fleeing abuse at home, you’ve been sent to live with family members you’ve never met before. You don’t speak English. You've never traveled outside your hometown before, let alone to another country.
What might you need help with in that situation? Enrolling in school? Learning the language? Getting your homework done? Finding a doctor or therapist? Learning your way around? All of the above and then some?
