  • We established the Immigrant Youth Advisory Team, a group of dedicated youth leaders and community members who direct our work. 
  • We launched the Project Libertad Scholarship, which benefits a graduating senior each year!
  • Our Executive Director was named a 2021 Aerie #AerieReal Changemaker, and Aerie awarded Project Libertad a $20,000 grant, as featured in Forbes!
  • We were honored as the October 2021 Charity for 100 Women of Phoenixville!
  • We began developing a one-on-one mentoring program for immigrant youth.
  • We served youth from across the globe, including Haiti, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Bangladesh, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and more!
  • 2,429 volunteer hours contributed in 2021
  • ​796 total individuals served in 2021

Immigrant Children's Defense Project:

  • Represented 45 immigrant youth in 77 immigration legal cases!*
  • Including:
    • 26 Asylum cases
    • 26 Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Cases
    • Visas for survivors of certain serious crimes and human trafficking
    • DACA cases
    • Legal Permanent Residency (Green Card)
    • And more!
  • 64 individuals offered free immigration legal screenings
