Empowering Immigrant Youth: Know Your Rights Training

In 2023, a total of 448 individuals benefited from our Know Your Rights training!

Project Libertad's Know Your Rights Project is dedicated to equipping newcomer immigrant youth in the Greater Philadelphia Area with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves, their families, and their communities from deportation.

Through this project, youth learn to:

• Exercise their legal rights and resist illegal practices by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
• Understand their immigration options and potential pathways
• Access resources for higher education and more

We also empower educators to create safe and supportive environments for immigrant students in their schools.

Youth-Centered Approach
This project is unique in that it is developed and implemented in partnership with the very individuals it serves - immigrant youth. By centering their voices and experiences, we ensure that our training is effective, relevant, and responsive to their needs.
