Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) for Immigrant Youth

Jóvenes Fuertes: Strong Youth is a 12-week, culturally-responsive social-emotional learning (SEL) program created by a Latinx immigrant psychologist to support the mental health of Latinx newcomers in schools. The program is offered in collaboration with partner school districts.

The curriculum focuses on teaching newcomer students social and emotional skills, promoting resilience, strengthening assets, and increasing coping skills.

If you are an educator interested in bringing this program to your school district, please contact Rachel Rutter at rachel@projectlibertad.org.
